Malaysia Trip 2008

Went to malaysia from the 9th - 15th feb...
Did Ipoh and KL.
Ate alot. Gained 3kg (i think!). And got a lot of mosquito bites...
Haha... Dun have all the photos yet, but here are some. :)

Fotos are not in chronological order....

Visit to Sam Poh Tong, natural cave in Perak.

And i found an ancient wooden horse for ride... vv ancient...

Explanation on the how the Sam Poh Tong came abt

Eating in Ipoh was unusual biz... They have good food EVERYWHERE. U name it, they have it.
Dim sum, Ipoh shredded chicken hor fun, curry mee, Yong tau hoo, popiah....
endless.... Something interesting lurk in the menu even when the dining place looks normal.

I was like 'huh?, they sell foundation here???'. haha.... let me explain. The circled actually means u can juz buy the noodle tgt with the soup, regardless of buying their other separate items. =P

Introducing my cheeky half-nephew, Chengyi.
He's so cute, u wanna pinch his cheeks everytimes he comes near. He's oso vv cheeky becoz he tries to imitate the way u laugh or do funny facial expressions like 'chilli, hot' and 'lemon, sour'.
A total charmer at the ripe age of 14 months....

He's muz be wondering y this jie-jie is putting a camera in front of her face all the time.

We even managed to catch fireworks as Ipoh celebrates CNY.

Something misc that i shot was this super ah-beng car.

I can see all the pink lovers coo....

Time to get into KL portion!!!

Was staying at the Melia Hotel directly opposite the Berjaya Times Square. So after checking in we headed to the mall for lunch. Check out their CNY display. Big lor...

On the way to change trains, we passed Planet Hollywood, for a shot.
Oh yes, KL train system is vv cork-up.... I dun understand y it was made tad way.... But it really doesn't make vv much of a sense when it comes to connection of different lines..........

And yes, the big catch, the pride of Southeast Asia.
How do u miss KLCC when u have already planted ur feet at KL!!!
We were vv lucky to get tix for the skybridge tour despite it having a near full load that day. I hate to admit it, but it really was quite stunning.

The view... Gorgeous...

How can i miss a foto with the cladding n teardrop-shaped eaves?

Waiting for the skybridge tour and walking ard KLCC proved too tiring for me. So i plod myself down to play lego when i went past the toys dept at metro-jaya in KLCC...

Candice's mansion

The fountain started by the time we went to walk the park. Oh yes, being V-day, all the couples were sitting ard sharing little bits of food while admiring the fountain, and erm, gaze in each other eyes. Whahah... I was busy jumping to get a good shot....

U cannot get enuf of the KLCC cam-whoring and u gotta do it yourself. Not bad at all!

My parting shot of the KLCC busk in the evening light.
