Wedding Updates 1

Dear friends,

since we aren't able to meet up often enuf, I've decided to update my wedding stuff so tad u all can be informed and feel vv part of my big day. =)

Change in venue:-
Initially HB and I wanted it to be at Haising coz we both met there and spent many of our days in school (for all the st john stuff). Unfortunately, due to the change in principal and the fact that MOE sent them such a timely memo that ANYBODY can be a terrorist and a school is an easy target, they decided to reject our plan to use the school. (yes NOW, at 4 months from the wedding) After a weekend of recce, we've now got our new venue

HORT PARK

It's a pretty new park off Alexandra Rd, near the Henderson bridge, and it's NICE!!! The moment HB and I reached the lobby, we've already decided to hold the wedding there. Big Thank you to Shui and Mandy for letting me noe abt the place.

Change of date:-
The vv next working day (1/9), we called NParks and found out that the original date of 16th Jan is already booked, so is 17th Jan. So the new date is

4th Jan 2009 (Sunday - Buffet Dinner)

So for ALL OF U, MY DEAREST FRIENDS, sorry no more holidaying for that particular long weekend. But i'm sure u wun mind. ^-^

We've gotten the draft invitation card done, now we're gonna finalise the design and send it out soon so that nobody goes for holiday den... The customary stuff will be done in the morning of 3rd Jan. So hopefully nobody gets too exhuasted, although many of u whom i greatly need ur help will have to have busy days ahead.

Anybody who wants to volunteer for anything can let me noe. My polymates dun need to let me noe coz compulsory...whahaha.... We'll be meeting up soon so that we start discussion on decor and get ur assignment.
